Brush
Brush your hair extensions before washing, and 2–3 times a day to prevent tangling. Use a detangling brush or a boar brush to condition and add shine. Start at the bottom and work your way up to avoid breakage.
Wash
Use a sulfate- and paraben-free shampoo and conditioner. Avoid rubbing or tangling the extensions. Instead, massage the shampoo into the weft line. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
Separate bonds
Use your fingers to feel each of the bonds and check that none have started to become tangled. If they have, carefully try to separate them.
Use a silk or satin pillowcase
This can help reduce matting and frizz while you sleep.
Use a purple shampoo
If you have blonde hair extensions, use a high-quality purple shampoo to neutralize brassy tones.
Use a leave-in conditioner
A leave in conditioner can be used on a daily basis to give your extensions moisture and protection.
Blow dry carefully
Add a heat protector or leave-in moisture product if you are planning to blow-dry.
Keep Regular Appointments
